Cookie policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on micmac.es, the website of Mic Mac Complementos, S.L., in accordance with Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). The processing of your personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies serve the same purpose, such as the browser’s local storage or techniques that recognise a device from the data it sends.

Some are technical, essential for the website to work or to provide a service you request, and do not need your consent. Others, such as advertising or social media cookies, do.

What this website uses

micmac.es does not set its own cookies, nor advertising or social media cookies. That is why you will not see a cookie banner when you arrive. This is what is used:

What Who Purpose When Consent needed?
Cookieless audience measurement Pirsch Analytics (Emvi Software GmbH, Germany), as Mic-Mac’s processor Counting visits and actions (pages viewed, referrer, device type, approximate country and city, clicks on «Request a quote», a phone number or an email address, catalogue filters) in aggregate statistics On every page No: audience measurement under the AEPD’s conditions (see below). You can object with the control on this page
micmac-map (local storage) Mic-Mac Remembering that you asked to see the interactive map, so it loads directly on your next visits If you click «Show interactive map»; lasts 12 months No: it stores a choice you made
micmac-no-medir (local storage) Mic-Mac Remembering that you do not want your visits measured If you opt out of measurement; lasts until you remove it No: it stores a choice you made
Cloudflare Turnstile Cloudflare, Inc. Checking that the contact form is sent by a person and not a program. Cloudflare also uses these signals, as a controller, to improve its bot detection Only on the contact page, when you start filling in the form Not for the anti-spam check, which is part of the submission you request
Google Maps cookies Google Ireland Limited Showing the interactive map. Google may use its cookies for its own purposes Only if you click «Show interactive map» Yes: you give it by clicking the button; it lasts 12 months and you can withdraw it with «Forget the map»

Cookieless audience measurement

To learn how the website is used, Mic-Mac uses Pirsch Analytics without its code: visits go through our own server, which sends them to Pirsch. Pirsch stores nothing in your browser and does not store your IP address. From the IP, the browser, the date and a secret value specific to this website it calculates a pseudonymous identifier (an irreversible digest, or hash). Because the date is part of the calculation, it can only recognise a visitor for one day at most, and because the secret value is different for each website, it cannot follow you across websites. From the IP it only obtains the approximate country and city, and it stores the browser identification separately for up to three months, from which it derives the browser, operating system and device type.

The data is only used to produce statistics about this website: it is not combined with other data, shared with third parties or used for advertising, and it is kept for up to 25 months. Mic-Mac considers that, under these conditions, the measurement meets the requirements of the AEPD guide on cookies for audience measurement tools (January 2024) for not requiring consent. Even so, you can object with the control at the end of this page.

Google Maps

The contact page shows a static image of the map, which does not connect to Google. Only if you click «Show interactive map» does the Google Maps map load and, from that moment, Google receives your IP address and browser data and may set its cookies. Google processes them according to its privacy policy and its information on cookies. Mic-Mac has no access to those cookies.

Your choice is remembered in this browser for 12 months. After that, or if you click «Forget the map», you will see the static image again and the map will only load if you ask for it again.

How to block or delete cookies and site data

You can block or delete cookies and website data in your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

If you block JavaScript or Cloudflare’s services, the form may not work. In that case, write to us at micmac@micmac.es.

Your preferences in this browser

You can change them at any time with these controls:

  • Don’t measure my visits: stores micmac-no-medir. The website stops sending your visits and actions to Pirsch from this browser, including those from the contact form.
  • Forget the map: deletes micmac-map and the interactive map stops loading automatically. To delete any cookies Google has set, use your browser settings.

Preferences are only stored in the browser where you choose them. If you clear the website’s data or use another browser, you will need to choose them again.

Your browser doesn't allow this site to save preferences.
